Negi is a 10 year old boy wizard in training, he has to go and teach at a all girls school to secretly train. Negi has 31 students in his class and they can be a handful. Negi can enter to a probationary contract with a partner, since he is in training he can have as many partners as needed.
One by one each student finds out his secret and so he wont get in trouble has to become his partner, to do so he must kiss on the lips, the partner in a magic circle, Which of course not everyone likes the idea of kissing him right away. When he invokes a contract with a partner they transform into 3 types by random, a dud card, a cos-play card, and a rare card. Which seems to me be like a mix of Sailor Moon and Yugioh.
Each girl has a stereotypical anime personality, some examples are the shy type, the air head type, the easily angered type, the smart type etc...
this anime is 2 seasons long its pretty entertaining, but doesn't seem very depth in story line and the voice actor for Negi is very shrilly and annoying. all and all its a fun anime and I would watch it to put another anime under your notch.
